No, they don't. Night time and weekends is packed.
The first Thai restaurant I explored when I moved to Los Angeles from Youngstown, Ohio in 2004. Simply the best and inexpensive. After today's visit I'm not sure I'll be going back, service was slow and poor, had to ask for things multiple times. It was even an issue getting a bag for our leftovers. Its OK, there are plenty of other options in Thai Town. 😉
One of the best boat noodles around, flavor is amazing!
Very good pho and pot stickers and consistently good service. They're closed on Wednesdays
If you like Thai food. This is your place to come. Have so many favorite dishes here like the Thai Iced Tea, Penang chicken, pad Thai, pad see Yeuw. Fish cake, papaya salad, all go good...
reliably authentic Thai flavors. my steaming shrimp pud see yu and neon pastel Thai ice tea arrived with prompt efficiency, both cost about $15. open until 0230am most nights! large menu
One of my favourite place while in thai town. It can be crowded and parking will be sucks during night time, but it worth for wait. Try their combination fried rice and pad thai. It is so good. Cant go wrong with it. The cashew chicken is ok. But over all loves this place
They do their best for customers to still be able enjoying their delicious food with respecting to extreme hygiene guidelines during this pandemic.
This is the place to go, if you are in the mood for Thai food. Every dish I have tried here was good!
Awesome environment and super welcoming service. The food was crisp and delightful. Will definitely recommend this spot to anyone. Affordable rates and large portions. Good job.
Excellent late night spot. The neon glow makes it especially enjoyable. Really good Nom Tok and wontons.
chicken curry very good. pad see ew excellent. Food items were delivered at different times. Parking is limited. flies in their outside seating but lady suggested to sit inside.
This place has been here forever and is really good Thai Food
I've come to this establishment on and off for over 2 decades. The food always tastes fresh, and the service is great especially late at night. I didnt know they took debit/credit because when I started coming here it was cash only. Larb is always excellent. Light but filling! The portion are smaller than what I remember but that is to be expected. I took my food to go, this maybe another reason. But let me tell you, nothing like eating some of the best Thai cuisine Hollywood has to offer in the comfort of your own home. This place is a solid must try.
Absolutely amazing Thai food must try
Been going here for over 10 years. Good authentic Thai food! You can sit outside with your dogs and the lovely staff would feed my dogs chicken! How amazing is that! 💯💯💯
For graduation dinner, I ordered twelve orders of the #12-kabob combo. My order was ready on time and perfectly packaged family style. The beef lulu and chicken were well spiced and full of mediterranean flavor. Came with tomato, pepper, hummus, pita and salad -all were tasty. This is the best mediterranean in the area and we'll be back!
Authentic Thai food. Your everyday Thai restaurant
This used to be my favorite late night Thai spot, now they won’t even take your to go order before 11pm
Studio City's hidden gem...Ridiculously good! 4 stars is not enough! One of the best meals my WIFE and I have had in along time. The flavors are explosive. This is what authentic Indian food tastes like. One of Studio City's finest. Run don't walk!!!
This location is not as good as their Claremont location. Although they said they are the original, the Pad Kee Mow noodle was soggy and didn't have the charred smell like the other location. Their grilled pork was the worst dish we ordered. The rest were okay.
Tasty vegetarian pad Thai and huge portion sizes.
Okay. It's relatively inexpensive and the wait time is short. They have a parking lot, which is always tight. The place is busy, but it's a small space. There are very few healthy options here. Most of the food is fried or very greasy. The pad Thai is good, had nice flavors. The service is good, attentive staff. Is it fine dining? Nope. Are there healthy options? Few. Is it a clean restaurant? Undecided, probably not. Is the level of quality top notch? Nope. Is it cheap? Yes. Comfort food? Absolutely.
Pretty good food, but not used to eggplant in curry. In Texas and other states, they put in other vegetables such as peppers or cucumbers. Wait was long. Parking is atrocious. Staff are nice and friendly. It was stressful eating with such a crowded area and suffocatingly small parking. I think taking food home from this location would be a better option as it has little room inside or out. The food is pretty good but the Thai I had in Houston was much better and the curry there was thick. The curry here was sort of watery, and too much soggy eggplant. Nice flavor to it though.
best Thai food around. late one night a Lyft driver recommended it to me and I am forever in debt to him. the papaya salad is truly life changing and oh boy what a deal it is
We love going out. Last night we came to this excellent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We passed a beautiful evening there with fine meal and a courteous team and a professional chef. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will certainly come back soon. We highly recommend.
The place offers an awesome variety of delicious food. I enjoy eating here. Employees are always very kind, prices are fair and the place is always kept clean.
The food was great we got the Tom yum with pad thai noodles. The service on the other hand not so great the waitresses brought my food and we waited a few minutes for my husband's but she never brought it when we finally asked her she told us she had forgotten to place his order and walked away without apologizing or anything, when she brought my husband's food she never came back to our table to ask if we needed anything we had to keep flagging her down so she could bring us our drinks napkins and finally our check.
This place is phenomenal. Sure they need to listen and follow when you request spicy, but the flavor and the lack of watery curry...try this place and enjoy!
5 stars! My first time here and it was great. The food was fantastic, prices are fair and you get alot of food. Service was just as good, friendly staff wil be back. :)
No frills is correct and I liked it that way. The food was excellent, steaming hot and tasty. Service superv and available parking with an attendant outside-a must for Hollywood. The fact that it's open until late is very convenient. The place was mostly full when we arrived at 9:30pm. The back of the restaurant had great music playing. We heard Adele, Gaga and Madonna while we were there, making it a comfortable and casual atmosphere. Will definitely keep it in mind next time I feel like having Thai food late night!
This was my go to Thai restaurant when I used to live in Los Angeles area. This is a Thai restaurant that cooked and served the same way as one could get in Thailand. Very authentic. Most items are central/Bangkok dishes. Been there so many times and everything we had was excellent .This place accepts only cash.
Love this place! Great Thai food. The servers are very kind and friendly people. Cash Only!
Amazing Quality for the right price!!!Fresh fish and creative chiefs make for a terrific experience! montroses finest!
Been getting different things every time I come here and have not been disappointed. The Chinese sausage and garlic stir fry we're so flavorful!
This place serves the best Thai noodles I've had in all of L.A. I've been coming here for years, but within the past year or so the place has had a face lift and they've started accepting credit cards, so I find myself coming here more often. Recommended dishes are the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mao and the Emporer's Noodles. Parking can be tricky (small lot) but this spot is worth the effort.
Best thai food in los Angeles, been going there for over 15 years. Prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food is awesome, always fresh ingredients and CONSISTENTLY well done and familiar in flavor. I literally only come here for thai in los Angeles.
Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants around!
Very good old place to hangout. Good Thai foods and friendly service.
Best Pad Thai and Pad See Wee in town
Most fond of their chinese brocolli fried rice with eggs, tofu, and tomato and side of thai chili.
Came here the first week they opened and a few more times after that. The first time I came, the hostess gave our table to someone else that came later and claimed the name. I think they should hand out tickets with numbers on them instead of go by names. As I come in, I see a lot of empty tables. The second time I came, I was told that the wait would be 25 min. While walking to my table, I see a whole bunch of empty and untouched tables. Why are they having people wait when there are empty tables? Their mini cooker tops are at the far center and their tables are high up, making it difficult to reach and comfortable cook your food. They should think about lowering their tables or raise their chairs higher. However, I do like the fact that you can adjust the heat setting right on the cooker top instead of having to turn your head sideways beside the table.
A friend recommended this place, i love the fried shrimp cake fish cake. The fried shrimp was a bit grease tho, i can only have one! Their thai iced tea was great! The only complaint i have is parking, its so hard to park, they do have a guy that kinda managed the parking lot but not real valet tho. You just need yo tip him. Overall experience was good, good food fast service.
The best late-night Thai food that I have ever had. We were drinking until the wee hours at a bar and someone there recommended Sanamluang. I'm very glad that I gave it a chance. Service was great, food was great, location was easy to find. And the hours of operation absolutely dreamy. If you find yourself in LA, Hollywood specifically, definitely check out Sanamluang.
Every time we come here the food is very good but today the food was on point. Every new dish just kept getting better and better. Make sure and order the grilled pork with spicy sauce you will not regret it.
Ok. This yummy place has a wait. But my lovelies, it's so worth it. The soup us bomb. I believe it's the number 37 . liver I think it is. If it gives you a booster or wanna sleep . that's the one. I think it depends on your day. Shrimp cakes are to die for. Yea. Enjoy.
Among my favorite Thai places.
One of the best Thai restaurants anywhere! Been going there since the beginning 30 + years ago! The owner is one of the nicest ladies ever! Great soups and Pad Thai! Be careful parking out front so use lot in back!
Eating here was a spiritual experience. I think my soul left my body. It was INCREDIBLE. My life has been different since. I’m constantly thinking of the next chance I’ll get to eat here. Best Thai food I’ve ever had.
Delicious! Panang, red curry, and yellow curry are all good. Mango sticky rice was fantastic. Would highly recommend.
• Great experience dining here. I came here with my family and my daughter really enjoyed the orange chicken. My son in laws favorite food is the shrimp!
